Truestar's new contest with rotating destination prizes gave me a chance to come up with a logo and theme that would be easily adaptable as the destination changes with each new iteration. This sample below shows the Mediterranean, although the logo and style can and will be easily adapted to the next locations.
In mid 2013, Truestar Health rebranded their Truebody Challenge as The Lifestyle Game. With many monthly, quarterly, and yearly prizes up to $100,000, this was a major business decision and required a lot of planning and user test case scenarios. The end result is a game that works smoothly on your desktop and your smart phone.
The compensation plan for Truestar Wealth is a comprehensive 20 page document. What sets it apart, is the easy to understand nature of the graphs, tables, and imagery. The real challenge was to portray as much of that information as possible on condensed 4 page version while keeping it legible and engaging. As the Senior Graphic and Web Designer at Truestar Health, my main role is to create the interaction design and coordinate the user experience. With on-going initatives and consistently expanding and evolving business goals I am tasked with keeping the site engaging and easy to navigate.
Skova Soul provided a rare case in which I was afforded the luxury to build from the ground up. I created the brand logo as well as the collection logos, catalogues, and website. It was a unique case in that I had to fuse a modern, clean, and user-friendly look with the 'bohemian' style that the artist was trying to create.
Truestar Wealth had purchased the highly coveted back cover of the bi-monthly canfitpro magazine, the largest magazine of its kind in Canada and is the leading resource for fitness professionals and club owners. Our rotating messaging with strong branding proved to be very effective.
In order to keep the Independent Distributors who represent Truestar excited and motivated, we are constantly inventing and building new contests and incentives. From cash prizes to free trips, there are always paths to extra income from Truestar!
Alan Dickie, a leader in automotive sales training, saw a changing market. So we worked together to build a modern looking, responsive website that better represents the level of service that he provides to auto dealerships. Seeing as he runs it himself, I set him up with wordpress and a heavily customized template. I also coached Alan on how to manage his site and update his blog regularly as well as providing SEO considerations to keep in mind as he writes content. Check it out at AlanDickie.com.
As U Weight Loss (UWL) was expanding, the need arose to have consistent and transferable training tools. After consulting with franchise owners and branch managers it was decided that a set of CDs would create a solid foundation for training and brand building. After consulting with UWL's brand guidelines, I created 2 UWL specifc CDs and one cross branded with Sales Superstar
In 2011 Health Smart Financial Services (HSFS) was created to offer affordable loans within the health sector. Starting with U Weight Loss clinics and expanding to dental clinics, veterinary clinics and more, HSFS quickly became a major player in the lending industry. The design is dated, but the real story was creating a fully functioning, online lending site, including auto-approvals, all within three months.
As the project manager for the web site re-design, I played a major role from start to finish. I personally created the concepts, wireframes, and templates, and then coordinated the IT team to work towards the final product. After implementing the easy to use 'Free Healthy Weight Analysis', U Weight Loss enjoyed an immediate 50% increase in inquiries.
Health Smart Financial Services had such a positive response that they decided to build on the momentum and branch out by attending as many trade shows as they could. With very tight deadlines, I created their booth design using the Health Smart look and feel and placed the messaging so that it would read quickly and effectively.
Part of any successful launch includes getting the word out. When Truestar Health was planning changes to its compensation plan, I had to create an invitation that would get the distributors attention and get the highlighted points across to encourage participation. This particular piece was sent to about 4,000 indivduals across the mid-west.
Truestar Health had started a strategic partnership with the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP). The goal was to supplement CARP's ‘New Vision of Aging for Canada’ that promoted social change to bring financial security, equitable access to health care and freedom from discrimination.
Our strategy was to promote a social and active lifestyle to Canada's senior population centered around the Truestar Health Software and Truestars award-winning vitamins and supplements
Part of the success of Truestar Wealth came from allowing our best distributors access to custom made portals. These were built on a whitelabelled Truestar site that allowed a great deal of customization. While we had tools for all distributors to changes colours, add logos, etc. for the best distributors, we created them in house, where we have a little more room to work with.
As the senior graphic designer, I created the main template, the changeable html, and designed the first few portals to set the tone.
